Smoking disease costs NHS £5bn
Sounds like a lot of money but since the Government tobacco tax take is typically around twice that, it sounds like a good deal, financially at least!

When are the Government going to legalise other drugs and tax them in the same manner? Licensed pharmaceutical quality drugs would mean the drug users would be happy (ok, more happy than usual), society would be better off and the only losers would be criminals, bargain!
